Wedding Receptions at the Plough & Harrow Hotel are as important to us as they are to the Bride & Groom. We want you to enjoy the occasion and every special moment, so that you can treasure the memories for years to come.
This historic Victorian hotel set in its own gounds provides an idyllic & peaceful setting for your wedding reception. The Plough & Harrow Hotel has 3 rooms licensed to hold Civil Ceremonies.

The elegant Terrace Room, with a balcony and patio overlooking the garden, can comfortably hold up to 100 guests for a wedding breakfast and up to 150 for the evening reception.
The first floor Calthorpe Suite is a modern function room with large windows overlooking the garden and can hold up to 80 guests for the wedding breakfast and 120 for an evening reception.

This means we can cater for a small intimate group or a large congregation of up to a maximum of 100 guests depending upon your individual requirements.
Each room can be laid out & decorated to your tastes. It is up to you if you want to organise any flowers or decoration for the room and this can all be discussed with our event coordinator beforehand.
To top it all off, the historic Grade II listed building, with its large curved patio, lawns and garden can be used for photographs to record the important day.
